What Is Required to Start a Chapter
Active MEN Membership
The founding Chapter Lead must be an active MEN member who has completed the Leadership Academy Chapter Lead track.
A Founding Circle
A minimum of one founding Circle — at least 6 men committed to the charter — is required before a chapter can be formally recognized.
Governance Compliance
Completion of the chapter launch process with MEN Council, including submission of the chapter charter, governance documentation, and initial plans.
Community Presence Plan
A clear plan for how the chapter will build a visible, positive presence in its local community within the first 12 months.
How to Launch a MEN Chapter
Step 1 — Express Interest
Contact MEN via the form below. A representative from the MEN Council will reach out to discuss your context, readiness, and vision.
Step 2 — Complete the Leadership Academy
Complete the Chapter Lead track of the MEN Leadership Academy — or confirm existing equivalency.
Step 3 — Assemble Your Founding Circle
Identify and commit at least 6 founding members who will form the first Circle of the new chapter.
Step 4 — Submit the Chapter Charter
Work with the MEN Council representative to prepare and submit your chapter charter — including governance structure, community plan, and member commitments.
Step 5 — Official Recognition
Upon approval by the MEN Council, your chapter is officially recognized and enters the global MEN chapter network.
